Too bad Hazell not Jewish, the funeral would have yesterday!

All kidding aside, these guys are human and if he is hurting he needs the time.

Tough time for him, for anyone who loses a loved one so young.

completely understandable, hope for healing to the Stoudemire family.

on a positive note (though completely inconsequential in comparison to the magnitude of the unfortunate passing) Amare's legs/knees should be well-rested..

He can stay out as long as he needs....three games is good. Dude need that time to get his head right. If I lost my siblings I dunno how I would be able to cope....

Would have been two days ago. Jewish funerals need to be on the same day. Unless, it is already night which is really the next day.

He died Monday morning. If by Jewish law, you have to give the Caterer 24 hours to get a nice spread together.

KNicks are good about this kind of thing. They let Starks use the plane once for his grandmothers funeral and I seem to recall that perhaps the team attended Q's brothers funeral. Im not sure.

MrKnickshot, Amare claimed he was part Jewish, so IM not being ugly.

Yeah - I don't think he was jewish in the end - but the whole Israeli trip and learning hebrew thing was fun. I like the guy and hope he does well here - seems like a really good guy.

This is the type of circumstance that is totally understandable and i hope amare is doing well. Even though im not the biggest melo fan we do need him but i am worried about all the injuries he is getting i hope this isn't a sign of things to come the next few years otherwise we are stuck with a injury prone player with a bloated contract
