Nash shat on the Bucks tonight and stole a road win.

The Heat destroyed the Cavs as expected.

That leapfrogs us over the Cavaliers and puts us half a game behind the 8th seeded Bucks (lost 3 straight).

7. Boston (14-10, 5W)
8. Milwaukee (10-14, 3L)
9. New York (10-15, 2W)
10. Cleveland (9-14, 1L)

I'd be happy if we can get the 5 or 6 seed. We would need loses from the other teams and lot's of wins.

I want us to be the 8th seed! that gives us chicago or miami

but realistically I think the east will be
Chi
Heat
76ers
Pacers
Magic

While the knicks/ celtics/Hawks will fight for position..

I just hope D'antoni pushes these guys to the ground. While trying to ge tthe best spot. With the compressed schedule and injuries it might be dejavu all over again during the playoffs

We match up pretty well with the Heat. First round Heat in a lockout shortened season, thats the deja-vu I am looking forward to

Miami normally has a hard time against teams with point guards that drive.. Look at their losses to golden state and the clippers..

If Baron is healthy we can penetrate all night long with Lin backing him up.

I liked shumpert defense on lebron but we need someone to cover wade as fields was a bad matchup for him

Melo on Bron, Shumpert on Wade, I think. Melo actually is a pretty good defender if hes into it (vs Bron he always seems to be). Posh can go 3-15 the whole series trying to attack Tyson and STAT should be able to do what hes best on defense, block shots from the weakside, since hes guarding J.Anthony.

Last week it was "this team blows, fire MDA, gut the roster and tank the season to get a top 5pick" now we match up well against the Heat?

Seriously, there is still half the season left. Many teams will struggle, players will get hurt - nothing is a given right now. I do think the Knicks make the playoffs and make some noise but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Its to bad that I dont post that often in here, but if you read what I have written, youll see I am one of those fans that do not evaluate the team on a day-to-day basis. The opposite, I cant stand the fact that modern sports fanbases are doing this! But it is like it is.

When I write that we match up well with the heat, I do it because I try to see the pieces that we have, if (big IF), we actually have all those pieces. Of course we first have to make the playoffs, but since it looks like we have PG now (the biggest missing piece all season long), Im pretty positive we will do it.

that was before MDA discovered a pg to run his system.

Its still early, but Lin has looked bona fide.

Do you actually believe that with the way Lin is playing, Baron will be starting over him?

I don't think so - my friend!

No way does Baron start over Lin. Baron can rest easy in a nice reserve role, which is the best fit for him at this point in his career.

it would behoove us to not get the 7th or 8th seed if we want to get past the 1st round.

If Baron can get back to form...you'd really start a rookie in the playoffs over a proven and experienced veteran...wow, just wow

This is Lin's team. Baron would play an important role backing him up.

And let's be clear, you wouldn't see Baron's name next to 'proven' in the Webster's. He had a good series against the Mavs, that's about it.

If Baron comes back healthy I can see both in at the same time.
