Since I opened the thread. Melo and Chandler for Howard/Reddick/Big baby Davis. Don't know how the salaries work but.
Lin/Davis
Reddick/Shumpert/JR??
Fields/Shumpert
Amare/Jorts/Davis
Howard/Jorts/JJ

very nice team. Notice no TD? We gave him away for a bag of peanuts and a stick of gum... We got the better end of that deal.

Great team you'd have there- fits together great. I'd then trade Fields for Marcin Gortat and Jeremy Lin for Paul Millsap- that would give us a starting line up of:

C- Dwight Howard
PF- Tyson Chandler
SF- Amar'e Stoudamire
SG- Marcin Gortat
PG- Paul Millsap

Championship!

But on a more serious note, what the toughest thing is in basketball is assembling a team in which all the parts fit well together- it's not so much about talent. Donnie Walsh understood that, IT did not. Trading Melo for Howard would be a disaster, as there is no way he, Amar'e and Chandler could play together- you'd essentially be trading for a player that cancels out your remaining talent.

Amare can be our PG if it means we're getting Dwight Howard for Melo. I'd be in heaven if this trade happened.
