Amare needs to come back insprired, and point up to the sky everytime he scores. This could turn out to be a positive thing. The lin-amare show

was Melo groin? That could linger... nasty injury. I had one playing football once.. was shocked how immobile it made me. It ruins your lateral movement

At least he'll get time to rest his other injuries, but it will make things really tough for us for the next 2 weeks. Stat will be out at least a week, I think, but when he does come back hopefully he'll be a beast- did you see the passes Lin gave to Jeffries? Those will be Amar'es when he gets back. I don't know if we can win a few while we wait for those two guys to get back, then this could actually be a good thing- Amar'e and Melo get some rest, and the rest of our team get their confidence back. It'll be really tough, but I hope we can do it.

Does anyone know about when Jorts is back. Did they say 6 weeks around 2 weeks ago, or?

As others have said with Melo, the guy needed the break. He wasn't going to heal and now he will. Sort of like being overworked and then getting sick cause you body couldn't handle it and then not being able to go into work.

I think early March- he's been saying on twitter that he's working hard on improving his fitness etc in the meantime- could be good for him.

As for Melo's groin injury- didn't Bill Walker have the same injury at the start of the season? How long was he out for?

Crazy how Melo, Chauns and Gallo all got hurt on the same nite.

We gotta maintain some wins or risk falling into a too deep whole.

This team could put a hurt on a team in the playoffs.

Gotta get in first.

Knicks are only a game behind Milwaukee right now, who just lost Bogut for the year. They should be able to make it in, the East is wretched.

But it'd be nice to start playing better along the way.

Could be worse. Chauncey tore his ACL. Hopefully it turns out to be 1 week not 2.

Thank god we're playing Washington tomorrow night. Still will be tough without STAT/Melo.

On the bright side, hopefully the next couple games will give us a better look as to what we have with Jerome Jordan.
