officially deep-sixed Toney Douglas down the roster bench closer to the 12th man seat!

The rise of Super Jeremy officially plants Toney Douglas deeper on the Knick Bench and likely puts Toney in the expendable
list for wheeling & dealing. I'd definitely keep Bibby over Toney.

Yep
DJ is man-ning up admit he was wrong about Jeremy Lin Show. Initially when this kid came into road games he could not wait
to shoot and we never ever seen his passing skills. However now Asian sensation has unleased his stuff he is sneaky good.
Give D'antoni a bit of credit for playing the kid and planting Douglas butt on the bench..

I'll give Douglas a bit of credit too he been a great cheerleader for his teammates and maybe he'll learn something by watching

Welcome Jeremy Lin !

a guy with REAL PG skills

That he is. I hope we can add another PG to the roster as the guy needs a backup. Can we pry Flynn from Houston (is it?)

Agreed
I always like J.Flynn from his orangeman/ Syracuse days. He can make it! in NewYork

Though I like Bibby to finish the yr cause he's a vet with smarts, I'd take Flynn in a split second and make
either Bibby or Baron go away.

Baron Davis can help the Knicks as a vet
an unhealthy Baron cannot. Its too bad we all agree Knicks could use several PGs and thank god for Jeremy Lin whom got me back
very interested in Knicks guards again.

Our guards been no-show terrible 2 wks ago but it's nice to see my man Landry Fields and Lin picking it up nicely with efforts, play
and energy for our Knickerbockers.

Good one!
Only thing is I see Lin similar to Stockton,
Jeffries based on some missed GOOD passes from Lin Jared wont make those under the hoop shots.

Jared is automatic turnover and his only hope is getting fouled to get chance to make 1-of-2 free throws.

The pick and roll can work from J.Lin. But not Pick/rolling with Jared whom dont want the rock back to score.
Its simple fact of life. Jeffries Offense is OFFENSIVE! *lol

By the way guys, I'll apologize to Coach for his decision to not give Lin a rest to start the 4th. I found this in an aricle here: http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/knicks/post/_/id/10962/the-jeremy-lin-show-act-ii

D'Antoni thought about taking him out late in the third quarter. Lin convinced him to reconsider. The coach obliged, saying later that he was going to ride Lin "like friggin' Secretariat."

I'll even apologize to Jeffries for my silent booing. I still am frustrated with his point blank misses but the guy played a great game and came here for the minimum when he could have gotten more from other teams. Further he said we owe a lot to coach for putting in Lin. I can't argue that, except to say he should have done it sooner.

Enjoy the ride guys, it's just starting,
EMS

edit - Forgot to add, that Chandler said Lin is the 3rd best PG he's played with at running the P&R! So, that includes Jason Kidd and who is the 2nd?

Felton! I wouldn't have guessed, but I thought he meant in his whole career? You sure? From what I've seen I'd say Jeremy is much better than Felton at the P&R.

A nice quote from Novak on Lin:

"Jeremy always has his eyes up and he's finding guys," Novak said. "He kind of makes it really hard for his [defender] because someone else has to always help. He's always getting by them. He's able to really just find guys. We really moved the ball well and guys really trusted me to put the ball in my hands."

I think if he is not better at it now, he will be really soon. Gonna be interesting to see if they give him the Rondo treatment and force him to shoot, will he be able to knock it down consistently. Thats what made Nash so great - he did not miss the open J

Yeah, that is a worry, but remember they were double teaming him last night (and the game before that). They were doing it on the perimeter. Now, wouldn't it be a lot easier to slack off him instead of doubling him since he can pass? I'm sure they tried it and he just still drove (No, I don't remember it though).

So, I think something had to have happened because we would have seen NJ and Utah both backing off him. Someone come in here.

I cant believe we lucked out with this kid. Now we dont have to depend on BDavis. Mark my words TD will be a sparkplug of the bench w/o all the responsibility of being the starting pg.

Do you start Davis over Lin when he gets back? I dont think so but well see.

I hope MDA doesn't run this kid into the ground, like duhon and felton..

i know we essentially don't have another real pg, but he has to play this kid smart

Utah double-teamed him especially when he went to the right. That seems to be his strong side and they tried to take his strength away. But Lin adjusted and did well. Still 8 turnovers for Lin so he needs to work on getting out of the double-team.

8 assists with guys missing easy shots. When Amare returns next game, Lin should excel with the PnR.

A. He just chugged the last ounce of Cool Blue tinted Gatorade, not to be confused with the Haterade DJM just poured down the drain.

I think it's to easy to kill a guy on this board & then when the dude drops back to back monster games, everybody says they were wrong & "mans up". In this case, we need more drastic humiliation like a public flogging with a whip made of Asian Noodles in front of MSG
