Someone told me that MSG has been in a dispute with dish network for almost two years. I thought that late spring, early summer this would be resolved as MSG has no content other than the Liberty and concert footage. I am not as sure anymore.

i hate TWC.

it has sucked major royal balls watching J-Lin in stuttering streaming sub-480i graphics and hearing Walt's beautiful poetic praises get cut short due to Time Warner's limited bandwidth

If people start losing their minds TWC will do something about it. It amazes me but I don't think many people care.

Well, it's certainly true. I'm a DISH subscriber and I've been w/o MSG since October 2010. And it sucks. Looks like you'll have to go get FiOS if you want MSG. They got it in HD too.

My neighborhood isn't wired for FIOS and my condo said no to my request to install a Direct TV dish on the roof.

No FIOS for me, I am stuck with TWC. Good thing they give me a really fast docsis 3 connection so I can stream games. But I really prefer to watch the games in HD on my giant flat screen. For now, I'll help save the planet by using less electricity.

what is this "fast docsis 3 connection" you speak of?
our TWC internet speeds are less than 1 MBps d/l and u/l it's CRIMINAL!!!!

I have switched to Direct TV. The picture is so much better than TWC's crap signal. So far so good. I hope the same thing does not happen with them but if it does than I can't imagine MSG would stay in business. I have also dropped TWC phone and gone with OOMA. Check it out. Up front cost of $200, but you need only pay the taxes every month (about $4), unless you go for the premier, which has some nice features for $9.99 per mo. So far so good. The only problem is that I still have TWC for internet. If I could find a new ISP in my area, then I could them out completely.

FIOS is where it's at. I dropped cablevision just over a year ago for it, and at the time the only downside was that MSG was only SD. But after cablevision's courtroom defeat, now I've got it in HD. Not to mention 35Mbps download/35Mbps upload internet connection. Way better than the 15/5 that cablevision was giving me, and more reliable. Oh yeah, about $30 cheaper a month too.

Docsis 3 is the connection they sell with their "Signature Home" package (~ $200/mo). It is a good conn WHEN IT IS FULL SPEED, which is really only after rebooting the modem.

TWC sucks in every regards, but it's the only thing offered where I live other than Direct TV. I need a fast intertnet conn for work, so that's out. If you can get FIOS< you should. It is the best available in all regards.
