During the broadcast yesterday on ABC, Doc Rivers said he had seen Houston workiing out before the game and Rivers did not think Allan will retrun any time soon! He also reported that Some have suggested that Houston gets another surgery.

The reality is that Houston could be lost for the year.

This would be bad now that we dont have KVH. We dont have an outside shooter anymore! Maybe Demarr can start hitting jumpers.

Yeah...I cringed when I heard Docs comments. Without Houston and KVH we are lacking in an outside presence.

Hou really needed to take some rest. We should take our chance with what we have and maybe will he be ready for the playoffs.

I'm not grumbling, but why on hell did IT had to trade van horn and doleac when we had proven we could beat (or at least frighten) nearly any team ?

Our "small step backward" starts looking like a dive in a blackhole.

I posted this yesterday on a couple of the threads. It was not at all encouraging to hear. The Knicks doctors really pulled a botch job on Allan this year.

Shooosh,

Question Isiah?

KVH trade makes no sense, unless Isiah is bound to controversy and rid the team of all White players with any Utah ties, even the good ones.

He meant to get Doleac back, but with his good play and good contract, of course he would not clear waivers.

I liked the team as it was, it was playing very well, adjusting. TT is damaged as was KVH coming in, but his stats just don't measure up to KVH.

Isiah said somthing I thought I would believe, how can any NBA player whom avg's 8 rebounds a game be soft?

TT averages half that, 3 pts less, and is worse (subjective) on defense. And has one more year on his contract. I guess Isiah sees somthing in TT.

nalod... let's get some things straight here.

You can throw your "racist" drivel out the window simply because Zeke was MORE THAN WILLING to bring Doleac back.

Second, to say "of cousre doleac would not clear waivers" is pretty dumb too. It has already been reported that YES, DOLEAC WOULD HAVE CLEARED WAIVERS if it was not for the fact that Andre Miller pushed really hard for him out in Denver. Until Andre's speech on their Utah connection, Denver had no plan to go after Doleac.

The KVH trade DOES make sense if your mind is able to look past just the 2003-2004 season. If you see the picture for 2004-2005, or even this year if we can get a HEALTHY Allan... this trade just made us ONE player away from a true championship contender, right there with LA, SA, SAC, and the Nets. Also... stop looking at this trade as TT for KVH... Nazir is a part of it too. And again, it makes sense for the LONG RUN.

Anyone who expects to win a championship this year, in my opinion, is an idiot. We can hope for one... but it's not a reality. The fact that we have a President who actually realizes that (unlike the idiot owner) and strives for a championship, (not just the Eastern Conference Crown) is a blessing.
If anyone knows of a SMART Knicks forum, with lots of activity, and minus people like PLAYA... holla at your boy.

I don't know that Denver didn't want Doleac...his name was tied to them in trade rumors virtually all year. It was a risky proposition and we lost. Things don't always go your way...

Houston cant do it all.. I hope he gets back, too, but i dont think he will instantly solve all of our problems. The Knicks are playing horrendous and Houston can't solve that with his outside shooting. There needs to be something before a star can fix it. Right now, we dont have anything. Take any other team, if you take their star out, theyll still perform well and get some W's. Were not getting any. Houston cant fix that himself.

BTW, i hope what im saying isnt true and that these 2 games have just been bad luck.

Unfortunately I heard that...I'm just choosing not to pay too much attention to it.

This year is mainly just about makin the play offs. maybe get to the second round. Next year is when we're gonna go big, especially if we sign rasheed. If allan needs to have more surgery, he will hopefully get it soon (within a couple months) and come back ready for next season.

The "H" is for his last name, Houston. The "20" is for his number.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I first saw that knickname last year on his website. Pretty sad when you gotta lobby for your own nickname...

H20= Hobbling on 2 knews with 0 lift off!

what was that movie with hugh grant where he is a doctor in NYC and discovers some underground hospital that takes homeless people, breaks their spines and uses experimental drugs to repair the damage?

Well- that must be where the Knick Drs are from and where they learned Knee surgery!

First, they finish off Dice (sure, he was bad off) and then they butcher allan's knees.

$100 million and they messed up on what should have been a simple clean the knee operation.

Instead they gave him a bad case of arthritis!

Fire the Drs (Norman Scott!)
