Imagine where we'd be if Jeremy Lin had been given serious consideration much earlier in the season by Pringles.

We are where we are supposed to be. Lin gave us a night to remember and it was the most fun we have had all season.

The trick is for Lin to get Amar'e involved in the same manner he activated Jared Jeffries to have his best game of the season. If Lin can get the ball to Jeffries in a position to score, imagine what he and Stat can do once they gain some court time together.

Be still my heart.

He may have. NBA coaches tend to know more about basketball and the team than us fans. Do you think that Lin and Jordan were sent down to the D League for no reason?

One of the things I missed after the Melo trade, was rooting for young players to have breakout games and improve and develop over the season, so hopefully Lin, Shumpert and Jorts can fill that void.

smackeddog - you hit on a key point. The stars are EXPECTED to have big games. That is why they get the big bucks. When the stars do not perform up to expectations it is a stone cold bummer. Trade rumors are the order of the day. "Get that bum outta here."

Last night in The Garden was more fun than ANY time in the season because it was like waking up on Christmas, ripping open a gift and getting exactly what you wanted... AND needed... and more. Jeremy Lin gave us something to get excited about as FANS because NO ONE saw a 25/7/and 4 rebound game in their crystal basketball. No one. Sure, 12 points and 5 assists would have exceeded expectations, but 25 and 7? No way.

As we catch our collective breath and hope for an encore, all we can hope that Lin stays calm among the attention and continues to get acquainted with the starters he has been practicing AGAINST.

"He has been breaking down guys in practice for a while now," Tyson Chandler said. "We were saying at halftime he just needs to play more minutes."

Jared Jeffries looked like an authentic NBA basketball player. Tyson Chandler was himself again. Amazing what happens when you catch the ball in a spot you can go towards the rack.

The game was easier for them and fun for us to watch.

I always told you Lin would play when he's ready.

MDA did a fine job bringing him up to speed.

He kept him hungry, like Cujo, and this is the result.

Kudos to MDA and kudos to Lin.

I imagine that will happen if he/when he gets to practice with the starters

I think Alan Hahn thought that up tonight lol

he was getting killed on twitter for not believing in Lin but he admitted he is eating crow. Too his credit I'm sure he felt the same way the fans did about Lin. He justs wants to keep his job @MSG

Yeah. Hahn is not allowed in this fan club until he says 10 Our Fathers and 15 Hail Mary's.

The Official Secretary has to be Tina Cervasio. She was the only media person that was asking and mentioning Jeremy Lin before last night.

yea so much so that dantoni ended the interview when she asked about him lol

Fans can plead for change all day but it isn't until the media picks up on it that the change occurs
