Sounds exciting. I'm glad we didn't do serious rebuilding.
Why is it so hard for people to admit that our team is illogically constructed?
I've been thinking about this- yes I agree that our main players don't really fit together well, but if you go back to the 90s, when we signed Alan Houston, Childs and traded fro Larry Johnson- that team didn't really fit together well- LJ really struggled to play with Ewing offensively (which is why he dedicated himself to defense), and Childs was an up tempo point guard who wasn't suited really to Ewing and the half court game. When we got Camby and Sprewell, again that team wasn't really a great fit of complimenting pieces- Houston and Sprewell were both SG, Ewing and Ward were really best in the half court, while the rest of the team were better running.
I guess what i'm saying is that maybe a team can be successful even if the main players don't really fit together- the key is what adjustments the players and coach make to make it work.
