If they don't blast the Nets tonight, I retire from basketball. From following it and from playing it.

We need any and every win we can get, because if there ever was a rock bottom for this Knicks team this season, we're there right now.

That said, if The Knicks lose this game tonight, there needs to be a riot at MSG. The rage of the fans needs to be seen, heard and felt.

Would a win tonight be a turning point, or just further delay of the inevitable?

I hate the Nyets, but I also sincerely believe that this team needs a serious shakeup. This coach pisses me off to no end, and I am damn well sure that I am not the only one who feels that way.

Let the chips fall where they may. Go Knicks.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I don't see any turning points until Baron comes, but if this franchise ever had a must win, its tonight.

I hope we win but it is not a given. The starters are dog tired. This is our 3rd game in 3 nights. MDA has got to use the bench more - the starters have logged more minutes than usual these last 2 games. I think Lin will get more minutes tonight.

But the Nets also played last night and this is their 4th game in 5 days so they are also probably tired.
The "N" in Nets negates = No; Not; Nyet - they won't win.

Go Knicks.

...and how bad will things have gotten by the time that happens, though? Will we be 10 games under .500 by then (or worse)? We're only a few losses away from there now.

MDA needs Baron Davis to return in order to save his job? That's horrid business. He should be doing better than this with the current roster, PG or not. One player isn't going to turn this capsized ship right-side up again. It's unfair to Baron as well as the rest of us to put that "Savior" weight on his still-healing back.

This team needs a hard reality check.

I hope Baron gets with the idea of playing under Woodson, because that is the most likely scenario at the rate we're going right now. Personally, I don't think that's a bad thing, either. Hopefully Woodson acknowledges the sense of emergency more than MDA and his "oh, we'll be okay" BS.

I'm trying to get up for this game, but am having a hard time shaking off this sick-and-tired, spent feeling. On top of that, I can't help but brace myself for the next weak excuse- "well, the team played it's third game of a back-to-back-to-back, and they just ran out of gas". That'll be the cue to regurgitate my gotdamn dinner.

We can only hope that it doesn't go down that way.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Baron has gone from day to day to week to week. The Knicks can't keep losing games because they don't have Baron.

I can't take another loss- and especially one to the Nets

Our starters have played too many minutes due to the bench being pitiful- don't see us pulling this off, but I hope we do.

I'm hoping and praying for a win. It's been a tough couple of games tho. This is the kind of trap game that kills a struggling team. Shump was complaining on twitter that he couldn't sleep last night and he was aching from the last 2 games.

I'm trying to see a way for this team to pull it out, but we can't do it without a rare big game from our bench.

I love these JR Smith tweets lol...really hope he ends up here. Smith can really ball and would really help our bench. However is he willing to take the 2.5M exception? Maybe his relationship with Melo and playing close to home in NYC helps. We need to win tonight this is a very winnable game. The Nets are with out Brook Lopez, MarShon Brooks, Damion James. Perhaps with a win we gain some momentum for the game against the Jazz.

The reality of the 3 pt shot. They took a good lead then missed their last 2 and the Knicks are right back in a comfort zone.
