I guarantee the second Lin screws up all his lovers will turn on him. Im not against Lin playing at all its jst taht i guess our season is that bad that even when a d league player has a decent few minutes he is our next "it" guy lol. Im not bashing anyone im just saying how bad our season has been

Lin gets minutes tonight - book it. Even our blind coach can see this being needed in the last game of a back to back to back situation. And, we don't need to add that Tony Douglas should not play with the way he has been playing. Isn't it ironic that his initials are TD?

no one turned on shump or JORTS when he admitted he was nervous first game of the year versus Boston. You have to be patient with young players

Cant knock MDA tonight, but seeing how well Lin is playing tonight and last night in the first half vs the Celts raises questions about why Lin didn't get any burn in the seond half?

It's more like WTF is wrong with D'Antoni for taking this long to realize Lin is better than TD? Everyone here saw it before D'Antoni.

What an impressive game for Jeremy. This is what happens when you play with a determination.

Don't be hard on TD unless they trade him cause he is our backup 2 unless we get JR.

JCrusher, you do an amazing job of putting non-words in people's mouths.

Why not simply speak for yourself?

Lin had 25 and 7 (with 5 rebounds) and that is good enough for tonight. An amazing performance any way you slice it.

Best part? Knicks win.

Im not putting words in anybody mouth. Im talking about my own feelings not anybody else. i respect people too much to do that. You are being very disrespectful to me but thats ok because i will still be respectful towards you

If he's a difference maker it will come out eventually. I just don't see how Lin could be ready for the kind of near playoff atmosphere of this kind of game. It's not like he increased the lead when he came in.

Would you call a game in Madison Square Garden against a top 2 PG in the league a test? And what if he GREATLY out played that PG? What if he put up career high numbers against that PG? What if he was almost unstoppable driving? What if he was the main reason for the team winning? What if he played so well that the garden was chanting his name? Would that be a test? Cause it happened and it was like watching Rudy before they made it into a movie.

Oh, and he did the same in high school, and the same against top teams in college. A game against Kemba Walker comes to mind.

It's funny that people don't understand a Coach wanting to bring a player along slowly. No harm comes to a young player when you take a very calculated approach to developing him. Lin got his spot minutes and then a longer look and finally a big shot to prove who he is. Is that not a logical way to handle a young player that you think has talent? It makes perfect sense. Especially since he didn't have a camp with us and very little practice time. MDA has had him playing 3 on 3's on game days with Baron and Jordan etc. Despite what so many think MDA has been working with Lin the whole time.

i agree. the problem is that some people think that means you hate Lin or you are "putting words in peoples' mouth" as one poster said to me. I think you have to bring lin along slowly since he hasn't really ben around that long. also this was a good game because he was very fresh
