K-Mart's clearance to return to NBA comes roughly two weeks earlier than expected. So it would appear his next stop will be sorted soon

Belief was China wouldn't issue OK to let KMart play in NBA until Chinese season was done; FIBA ruled it OK in last 24 hours, sources say.

After China failed to respond to request for Letter of Clearance for Kenyon Martin, FIBA made surprising decision to grant it, sources say.

I wouldn't use the Room Exception on him. He's 34 and could be out of shape. I'd save the Room Exception for JR.

JR not Fugazi Kmart please. JR poured in 60 pts his last game, we need more offense, not 34 yr old defense.

I would love to get both some how and waive Bibby & co. If not I would prefer JR because of his skills and age. Veteran forwards are easy to find not an immediate necessity

He disrespected Tim Thomas. I can't remember him disrespecting the entire Knicks organization.

Well unless JR know how to get rid of Toney Douglas, he may not be coming.

I don't think the Knicks are really gonna go hard for Kenyon. He really isn't the best use of our limited resources. JR fits more with what we're doing. He's young and full of energy. We need a boost of energy.

amen to that! Would rather have Smith chucking than TD chucking. I am NOT a fan of Smith's but the team obviously needs guards

read today (somewhere) that the Knicks would explore a TD/Jorts package for Sessions, and a 2 for 1 opens up a spot

I hope the Knicks don't trade Jorts. He has played very well. Also, I think the Lakers might be offering two first round picks for Sessions. Lets hope the Knicks don't get into a bidding war.

I like Jorts. I also like Jordan. One is going to play, the other is going to sit. If the trade is, essentially, Jorts/Jordan for Sessions, I think the Knicks would be wise to pull the trigger.

I'd rather have Jr at this point as we need guards SOOOO BADLY.

but JR's father claimed $2.5M wouldn't be enough for JR, so if Kmart is actually willing to come here, he's good Amar'e or Tyson insurance.

Ask yourself - who is the back up to Amar'e right now? or Tyson?
