You don't trade him, you use him for what he's best at. We get a PG who is a leader and able to wave off Melo rather than give him the ball every single time and then there's more balance in the offense and Melo doesn't dominate the ball. There's no reason to trade Melo. We just need to build the team up around him.

The people who needs waving off is the guys standing at the three point line ready to jack another shot up...

All the role players we have are limited players that basically shoot 3's. If they were well rounded players they'd be better players, but they're not.

Fields, Walker, Novak, Bibby and TD are basically spot up shooters. They make the occasional drive to the basket, but that's not a strength. They shoot 3's. They're not supposed to be major options in the offense.

Last year STAT had the highest usage rate in the NBA. Then you had Felton also taking a majority of the shots. This meant that our Role players took fewer shots as they should. Now everything is out of balance.

How is it that people call him an outstanding closer when his FG% in the closing seconds is 47.7 (OK but nothing great)?

Umm...confirmation bias? Y'know, the stuff that people who don't like stats use.

You've gotta be F'n kidding me! You even bother to read. Aside from this impressive stat, it's also widely known that he's made the most game winners over the last few years. No sense showing your bias against the dude when the stats back up this one strength Melo has. He's a closer and that's why you get a guy like him. Melo has flaws, but closing games isn't one of them.

What's so impressive about it?
Widely known? Can you be more specific?
You've got a bunch of statements but no arguments.
You're calling me biased but you and many other supporters of him can't even maintain a calm discussion of Carmelo. Any criticism gets several curse words, exclamation points, and simple statements without evidence.

47.7% when everyone in the building knows you're going to shoot is not outstanding???
