9 buckets, 6 dimes. And we only lost by 13 to the Rockets. I'll take that. The Pistons will be a walk in the park.

Knicks by 12 with Lin dropping 9/13 in the defining game of his career.

There Will Be Boos

... and a few season ticket holders will start thinking about staging a formal protest against the average 49 percent increase in ticket prices at the world's most renovated arena this season.

I predict more threads will appear on this site about firing D'Antoni and trading Amare. What if the Knicks win though?

I use to agree with those that say "a real fan would never boo their team at home." I am a definite, die hard, REAL fan, going back to Bernard King days.

Now I feel we are simply out of further options. It is safe to assume that Dolan, Dantoni, and the Knicks players don't read our chat boards or the local newspapers (at least not the sports section).

Therefore, there is only one way to let the fan's voice be heard by the players, Dantoni, and even Dolan if he is stupid enough to attend.

The method is to LET THEM HAVE IT VERBALLY !! I mean the works !! From Dolan sucks, to fire Dantoni, to booing a stupid shot/turnover/missed dunk/wild pass/lack of hustle/matador defense/ball hogging and I could go on and on.

They hear that stuff for sure, they mention it in post-game interviews all the time. We have to let them know that this dog**** basketball does not fly with us fans and we are not going to put up with it.

So I urge all the REAL Knicks fans that are at the Garden to let the REAL fan's voices be heard. It will be hard since the crowd is mostly made up of rich, corporate businessmen that aren't fans and are only there to discuss business deals or play with their iPads.

But enough REAL fans will be there to be heard, so let them know that us REAL fans are fed the hell up !!

A boycott would be more effective.

Oh no doubt, but you could never get all those corporate "suits" I mentioned to go along with a boycott. Therefore, the verbal assault seemed more plausible.

you can't protest the Knicks by buying tickets to games and booing. only way to truly protest is to abandon the product.
