Lenny probably had a loooooooong speech that he said at the Knick's practice about over-confidence and always playing your hardest no matter who the opponent. I'm sure the Knicks have learned their lesson the hard way and are ready to kick it up a notch. We have this won, to bad so sad for Lebron's Mecca debut.

I could, permitting its only a 3 loss losing streak and we follow with a 10 game winning streak

I have a feeling that Lebron wont score too big, my prediction is he'll try too hard and score only 16-20 points

knicks win this 92-85

Starbury was none too happy with being booed at the Garden on his birthday...Now he'll be playing at home and on national TV to boot. I smell a 40 point effort.

I just hope Tim Thomas can get better acclimated to the offense. He looked dreadful last night.

Ur most likely right about marbury, but i dont think itll be quite 40...i expect everyones gonna try to play @ 110% after last night.

maybe something around 30pts 12 assists for stephon

Hey, I know this is nothing, but I thought it was worth mentioning. It's the preview of the knicks and cavs game played on 989 NBA Shootout. This is from NBA.com

Feb. 20 -- Plan on watching the Cavaliers-Knicks game (1:00 ET, ABC) on Sunday. Then watch this video clip of Cleveland and New York squaring off in 989 Sports NBA Shootout 2004.

Watch as these two teams fight for a chance to be part of the Eastern conference playoff showdown. How will King James perform in the Garden? According to the 989 Sports NBA Shootout 2004 simulation, both James and Marbury scored 22 points but, the Knicks got the victory 91 - 88 over the Cavaliers.

I don't think this will be an easy game for the Knicks to win. Cleveland is coming off a win against the Spurs and we all know that they have killed us all year long. However, this is a different team, so I don't expect us to get blownout like we did in the other games. But, I still think we are going to have to put up a big fight to win this game. My prediction: Knicks 95 - Cavs 93

I would also like to see Mike Sweetney get some major minutes in the game, though I have a feeling that won't happen. Hopefully, he will pass Harrington on the depth chart soon.

Matt, NY defending the home court should always be 110% regardless of the previous results. But the fact that the Cavs are hyped-up after beating SA and now on national TV at the Garden puts our Knicks under the microscope.

Again this is another scrub team[under.500]trying to validate this thread

I dont think he'll pass harrington for that, but catch up to him. Wilkens is fond of both sweets and othella.

I don't know what they were thinking going to Mutombo so much. Thats just ridiculous. They should be up by so much more. Just because Deke is playing well doesn't mean you go to him like he's Pat Ewing.

if we keep playing like this we will definitely lose this game. I don't like what they are doing on offense. They should run some plays for TT because he's the on;y one with potential to score since Marbury is stinking it up

hahahahaha did you see mutumbo get thrown that ally?

first off he airballed it and shouldve been called for a self pass. then he misses a point blank 2nd chance.the guy is useless

btw keith van horn was much better for us and zeke made a big mistake on TT

He is not useless. It's the teams fault for going to him. All he should be doing is blocking shots and rebounding. They should be running the offense through Tim Thomas not Deke.
