Jeremy Lin - I have been saying it all, he deserves to get some minutes with the 1st/2nd unit, with his penetration with the combination of speed, quickness, and dribble.
Showed the ability to facilitate, hit a shot, penetrate, get his team involved, and run the PnR.

Novak - he looks like he can move off the ball, similar to RIP, and can knock those shots down with ball movement. Doesn't look very good defensively but probably our
best shooter when left open.

Jordan - nice defensive effort, great block, and explosive dunk. He has shown the ability to hit 15 footer in his less meaningful games too.

Balkman - probably won't play most nights with his shot being weak. But he probably is the better defender over Walker, behind Fields and Melo.

For a team that didn't look like there was a 2nd unit for many games, our 3rd unit + Fields sure played well together.
Sure it was vs the some of the Bobcats bench too, but, they looked cohesive together, that our 1st unit has often lacked.

the "free throw distance shot" is called a 15 foot shot. Please Don't use terms that can cause confusion. Yes.Jerome can hit the 15 footer.

J-Lin and Novak deserve serious looks. D'Antoni needs to understand that Toney Douglas is NOT the answer.

D'Antoni is doing what he has always done and that is to have players work to earn his trust. The idea is work hard to show him you deserve to play. When you get your chance fight to earn a spot. Why this style is bashed is beyond me. It has worked with guys on this team like Shawne Williams and Fields. Yes once he has confidence in a player he shows more loyalty to that player, but that's a good way to be, despite how it's judged by some. If TD gets his game back he will never forget the loyalty MDA has shown him and likewise to Fields, who seems to be coming around. He may not be quick to give guys a long look, but once you earn his trust he will fight for you and give you a chance to prove you deserve the spot.

Possibly but what about Corey Brewer and Derrick Brown? I think they deserved burn and did not get a fair shake.
