Kid had a career game.

In MSG. Under the spotlight while everyone watched.

The boy is now a man!

Glad for the kid. I hope they pay him 15mil a year.

Smooth move Dolan. Smooth move.

Guess what SHITforbrains, you also gave away draft picks.

Yeah, they also manned up and gave Felton a chance to start in Portland as they wanted to go with Lawson.

Class organization.

Way to go Gallo, I hope your pops was in the house to see it.

I am always glad when ex-Knicks do well. Not glad we lost the game though.

“Gallo was insane when he played with me,” Amar’e Stoudemire said. “He is a phenomenal player. I said that when I first got here. He showed up tonight.”

I think Amar'e liked Gallo a lot and enjoyed playing with him. This sucks hard.

Gallo liked playing here as well and was pretty upset over the trade. I like Gallo but wished he would have shot 2 for 20 last night instead of lighting us up.

pretty clear Gallo is the better player. Stats dont always mean the best... jut ask Eli.

Gallo's team wins with team basketball and Melo's a top scorer in the league.

Oh well... lets go Giants! Pitchers and catchers in 4 weeks!

Honestly, Fish, you seemed so certain that Melo was an excellent player and this team was gonna win at least 40 games. I thought it would take you at least 1 to 2 seasons to join us on the dark side.

Q. How many of Gallo's 19 attempts were taken outside of the context of the Nuggets team-oriented offense?

A. Not many.

When one considers the majesty of Carmelo's inside game, the fact that Gallo got to the line for 18-20 from the free throw line, compared with Carmelo's meager 4-6, Gallo should be given a gold star for his toughness.

+1. The biggest problem I had with the trade was giving away Felton. And that was before we threw in Moz. 4 starters for 1 player. Dolan's handprints all over.

Gallo was always this talented and he was showing signs of coming to his own with Amare. Right now he is on the better, more balanced team and can have nights like this easily.

But you don't judge a player nor a trade by one night, especially when your team is so dysfunctional. Melo is a star and is a better player than he has shown, but circumstances have him, Amar'e and pretty much any other knick out of their game.

Think about it:

-Melo is a SF scoring machine that is asked to be point-forward.

-Amar'e is an athletic freak who thrieves in pick-n-rolls yet is asked to shoot from outside or disappear.

-Tyson Chandler is a defensive Center that guards the post, yet is asked to switch constantly to smaller men out of the post on defense.

-Toney Douglas is an undersized SG who is asked to run the team like a PG.

-Landry Fields is a SF who thrieves in the fast break yet is asked to be the SG in halfcourt sets.

-Iman Shumpert is a rookie SG with energy and defense, yet is also asked to be the PG and run the offense.

We are a team of players trying to win playing out of their comfort zones. No wonder they look this bad.

But take a note here: most of those issues revolve around not having a PG. This is why I say a trade or move of a solid PG is necessary, even with Baron on the mend, whenever that happens.

Dude, did you just cut and paste all of my posts?! Just joking but seriously, I've been saying the same exact things. Too many of our players are playing out of position and being taken out of comfort areas. Hopefully, Davis' debut will put players back where they belong....

Good for Gallo!
