Haven't seen anything about Iman, but I wouldn't be surprised with the way things are going.

that really hurts, we can replace a body and defense but not one that can stretch the floor.
And with JJ our only backup bigs its not going to be pretty...

Not a big loss we under-utilize Jorts anyway by having him stand at the 3pt line all game. We will miss his defense but it's not like he MDA plays him enough anyway. Call up Jerome Jordan and give him Jorts 8mins per game. What happened with Shump that is more concerning since we will have to see more of TD if he's out. Maybe they can recall Lin too

he plays 15-20+ minutes a game.
You do realize, he isn't quick enough to guard most of the PF's right?
His def vs Centers is better than JJ man to man's defense.
But Tyson Chandler's defense is a lot better than Jorts.
He gets beat by the PF and isn't quick enough to provide good help DEF.
Hes a solid player, I don't know if we would be able to keep him after his 2 year deal either...

He would have played more than JJ if Josh didn't get hurt today...

RonRon - Jorts' big body and his ability to not foul was immeasurable on defense. He was great at guarding centers and showing smarts out there as well as starting to score in more ways - most notably by driving. Sorry, but this isn't a small loss. This hurts.

Of course we would keep him after his 2 year deal. We would match any offer.
Well, I do hope to see some of Jerome Jordon now...

This really hurts. I loved watching him play defense, was amazing as a defender the way he wouldn't go for fakes and just kept his arms up. His big body caused so many problems. Was great to watch. Damn...

I loved Jorts' play and attitude. This hurts. Another injury. We keep losing games as well as players.

he was the one bright spot this year - a guy that actually played smart, contributed, hit open threes.

But, he was not being regularly used by MDA, so I don't think it will hurt that much.

This team, this season is cursed.

Dolan getting some Karma for the way he treated Walsh. Sadly, we have to suffer too.

But, maybe the sports Gods will make up for it and give us a Super Bowl Champion!
