LOL...Right after the trade, Briggs hated it. Then after one of our wins (either Boston of Sac) BRIGGS had a post where he praised the rooks and said something about having a good core, we just need to add a few pieces. Now, he's back to this....This is what happens when you judge game to game, quarter to quarter.....If we were Heat fans, we would have had Bosh and Lebron traded last year after about 18 games.

Exactly. Judge it when we have a quality starting 5.

Team isnt that bad man. Melo is hurt and Amare is playing himself into game shape.

Our other players excluding Chandler are trade bait though.

We're closer to a championsip team now than we were before. We just need to add a few pieces and get healthy.

i hated the trade, but i was surprised last year when TD and Shawne Williams stepped right in.
Melo was the same player with more 1v1 moves, but he was on fire.
Billups just went to the the 3rd chucker.

In Briggs' defense, if it wasn't for the meddling Dolan not understanding the term "leverage" we would have a quality starting 5, probably including Melo. Ujiri and Kroenke made the Knicks front office look foolish, which is why Donnie was like F this BS, I'm out.

I still am not ready to jump off the ledge though. Once Amar'e gets his legs, things will starting moving in the right direction. I see the Knicks being a 5/6 seed, given the drop off of talented teams that come after Mia, Chi, Orl, Philly. I think we could beat Orl or Philly in a 1st round matchup.

I hope this is just as simple as you state it. Couple of times he goes up for a dunk and I wonder if he can get to the rim.

Yeah the PnR with Melo where he barely got it over over the rim was pretty troubling to see.
