There should be zero trade talk that suggests shaking up the core of Anthony, Stoudemire, and Chandler. If in a year we are in the same boat and hovering around .500 then that is the point we would want to consider a shakeup, but no earlier. As fans we must be fully committed. Everyone is ready to trade Stat because he's only averaging 18 and 8 and looking out of place. He's still the same player, and one of the best 2nd options in the league, just needs an average PG or better. It is not about playing alongside Melo and/or Chandler. He will play fine with those 2. They will all figure it out because they are too good not to.

Suggest whatever you want with dealing any of the other pieces on the team and how to upgrade the supporting cast, but let's stop the trade talk about any of these 3. We owe it to them to wait to see how they play with a real PG and a real supporting cast. This summer we will have a chance to add Steve Nash or Ray Allen or Wilson Chandler, etc. But in the meantime let's assume these guys will figure it out and it is not the issue at hand.

i'm being patient. it's just the way i follow sports now. the days of flying off the handle over a few games are over. it's a long season. gonna get my entertainment out of it.

way healthier, but sterile compared to the live and die by each minute die hard lifestyle.

i still think this core could work. i'm not ready to trade or fire anybody.

Yes because all max players require a point guard to score 25 points a game. And a point guard is going to have him stop letting other teams lay up and dunk as he just steps aside.

Don't worry, fans don't actually get to make trades.

But owners acting like fantasy league fanboys do ^^ Lets hope that Jimmy is satisfied enough with a full garden to not mess with the team any more!

Everyone's ready to trade Stoudemire because he is worthless on the court if he isn't scoring. He does nothing else for the team.

Then you have to decide if its better for your team to find a way of using his scoring, or trading him away. Easy, right?

I would prefer to trade for someone who is going to play defense and rebound down low. Chandler can't cover all of Amare's deficiencies on defense.

Who would that be? He has to earn a lot of money, or come from a team with a bad contract player (Lewis, Turk, who else is there?) Are you willing to take OK4 (He has a bad contract and would fit the Defensive player type PF you want, right?)?

As I see it at the moment, not the Defense is the problem, but the Offense. It looks like Chandler can indeed cover for most of Amares deficiences.

Why anybody will give a fire value for Amare and Chandler?
Both are not worth their contract.
Amare is not insured and Chandler is overpraised.
Melo can be traded but this will make organization look like a bunch of idiots (which they obviously are anyways).
So the Troika is there to stay until contracts expiration.
