Why is Toney Douglas on the court during crunch time???

I am really tired of watching Douglas shoot us out of games. We have Stat & Mello as scoring options. Douglas's shot has been atrocious this year.

This has got to stop.

Why? Cause Landry blew an important 3 on 2 fast break with a charge.

Toney didn't bug me today. When the shots weren't falling, he was really the only one to try and drive inside the arc for the mid range shot.

He had a descent game and was hitting his shot early on.

Other than bibby and novac...TD is the 4th option to shoot outside, melo is more of mid jumper

Key word....scorers....alot of us were hypnotized by just needinnhg shooters. We lack in the skill department....We don't need Novak....we need someone that could do more and not be afraid to do it.

Its clear we are a mess and our record is starting to show it. I really believe management needs to do a few more moves if they want to stay afloat in the playoff picture. Resting all our hopes in Baron Davis is so unfair, especially with a few guys we have on the roster that are supposedly PG help (Douglas, Bibby, Lin). We wait for Davis to save us starting while we don't even have a clear backup PG.

Bibby, the best of the bench PGs, is better as a 3rd stringer that gets a few nights off. Lin is a waste of roster space, to tell the truth. Douglas is trade bait because his regression this season has been ugly. Shump is an undisciplined 2 that should learn with time and become a solid player, but he isn't the answer at 1.

Management needs to bring a real backup 1, probably by trade because not many available as FA. We need a Sessions type of player ASAP or we could find ourselves finally healthy but in a hole too deep to get out of.
