Who are these people and where have they been hiding? ramtour420 wrote:Chill out people, go smoke some weed, have some drinks do whatever you need to do. Let's get back to this at least half way into the season, preferrably after our playoff run.................... Does this mean martin and andrew can take the rest of the winter off from whatever it is they do? Do we only post in the O/T forum about Occupy Boca Raton until the playoffs? What about Melo vs Stat? What about Gallo? What about trading Melo/STAT/Tyson for Wilson/Felton/Moz? |

![]() I don't know if it is the worst time to be a Knicks fan, but it certainly isn't the best. The best time was Isiah Thomas era. Isiah just had a flair for entertainment and assembled an excellent cast for the Greatest Show on Earth at the World's Most Famous Arena.
The peak year was 2007 - "The Summer of Marbs" (which, coincidentally, had quite a lot to do with weed AFIK). That was back in 2007 (hard to believe it was four and a half years ago) We had Marbury on Mike'd Up & the sexual harassment trial, an intern getting into Marbury's truck, Marbury refusing to get on the plane, Marbury & Isiah's public breakup, etc. Lots of basketball stuff to talk about - unlike now, where all we can talk about is wins and losses, the coach, players, etc. Basketball just isn't what it used to be. I miss Fred Jones. https://
It's not so hard.

I completely forgot about trading Melo/Chandler/Stat for Felton/Wilson/Gallon Everything you have ever wanted is on the other side of fear- George Adair

What, no love or mention of the Larry what turned your Blue eyes Brown fiasco? I miss Herb Williams at garbage time. Wait, is he still here? |

![]() I think what really bugs the UK mafia is that we're all in now. No excuses. We've exhausted almost all resources to strengthen the team, yet we come out with the same, if not worse, result than we did pre-melo last year. Back then, it was bearable with the prospect of constant improvement from the yoots - without using assets to acquire better talent, we would still become better with time.
BUT, our backcourt can only improve from what it is now. And we're only 12 games in as u point out, ram. So that's at least something to hold on to. Legalize di NBA

It is pretty frustrating. I also don't think management did D'Antoni any favors. Any coach needs a point guard, D'Antoni desperately needs one to run the offense he wants to run. If the organization is committed to him as a coach they needed to get him a point guard. I am the first, second and third guy in line to criticize D'Antoni but I don't think he was put in a situation where he can succeed this year. The Knicks got very lucky that Baron ended up signing in NY. Hopefully when he gets back on the court things start going better. I'm tired,I'm tired, I'm so tired right now......Kristaps Porzingis 1/3/18
