FiOS up and running at the Berger home. Not only can I now watch @alanhahn on @MSGNetworks, but I get a better product for less $.

I am still with TWC as well. I currently watch the games through playon. It sucks but I have been able to get the msg feed. It cuts out right after the game ends.

Watch it through vipbox.tv. It's just like watching MSG. I hook up my laptop to my TV through the HDMI cable. A little grainy but the feed is pretty good.

Playon has the msg feed but it isn't an hd feed and sometimes becomes a bit grainy. I may try an older tv (analog) just to see if it is a bit better. The live sports plugin on playon has a ton of content. All of the nba games, nfl, nhl, mlb, college sports, and some pay per view events. I haven't tested the pay per view so I don't know if it works.

Last night I hung out with someone who works for TWC and they told me some interesting info:
1) They had a deal with MSG, through a verbal agreement and when the lockout ended MSG changed the deal.
2) There has been little to no complaining or cancellations of service from Knicks fans - basically TWC think Knicks fans don't care because the team is bad. If the team was as good as in the 90's they would have taken the deal. The website they set up for complaints and info barely gets any hits and they are not getting a lot of calls.
3) the biggest complainers are the Buffalo Sabers fans and they are doing the most for them.

I think MSG gambled that the Knicks were going to be a top team and they have not come together. If they were winning maybe there would be more pressure to solve this but overall it seems like Knicks fans don't have much resolve when it comes to forcing TWC or MSG's hand.

I think it says a lot about the state of the Knicks.

That makes a lot of sense. MSG has no content that I am interested in the summer other summer league games. If this drags on past the spring they lose a lot of negotiating power.
