Pining for the past doesn't bring it back. We beat Miami twice after the trade last year these games mean very little. You created a thread about showing some support? Well?
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

Cant call them the Knuggets anymore. Only ones left are Gallo and Moz. Felton is in Portland; where is the Trailblazers boxscore? Chandler is in China, where's the updates about his progress? Its always been about Gallo. What people dont realize is that the Nuggets were deeper than us before and after the trade. What people fail to point out, is that Melo was in Denver for 8 years meaning the Nuggs had 8 yrs to build a team and put pieces around him to be successful. We've had Melo for 4-5 months and people want a ready-made-championship-contending team right now. Doesn't work that way.

Current Knicks have more future potential to advance through the playoffs than the current Nuggets do...

Whole-heartedly agree. To think Mozgov was almost the "straw" that broke the Carmelo's trade's back.

Not Just Nuggets

About Last Night (the bootleg remix)

OUR Starters

Felton (13 points and 7 assists in a loss to the Spurs)
Fields (free to move without the ball again)
Gallinari (14 points, 5 rebounds in the Miami win)
Stoudemire (with better sharing, the captain gets his groove back)
Tyson Chandler (playing in NYC because Broadway is a long way from Gran'dad's farm)

OUR Reserves

Baron Davis (loves New York because his SAG card works in a lot of places here)
Shumpert (taught patience by learning minutes are not guaranteed)
Shawne Williams (for three)
Anthony Randolph (averaging 7 points and 3 rebounds and shooting 54 per cent from the floor, not bad)
Timofey Mozgov (started, outplayed the Miami big men last night with 12 points, 7 rebounds, three blocks and a juicy +16 in the win)

OUR Pine Brothers

Jeremy Lin
Corey Brewer (averaging 7 points and 2 rebounds for Denver)
Wilson Chandler (MIA, he slides to guard with OUR reserves and everything is up tight - out of sight)
Jared Jeffries
Josh Harrellson

Quality depth. Yoots. Enthusiasm. Size. Trust. Scoring and defense. Minimally, 7-8 guys in double figures every night, what's not to like?

Did I mention we still have draft picks?

Leading into last nights game, Mozgov was averaging 13 mins and 3 pts per game. Him starting was strictly cosmetic....

Watched the game. Mozgov added a left-handed baby hook to his jump shot... and looks agile and confident on the floor.

The Moz is improving, with minutes, in ways beyond the stat sheet.

Ahh, nostalgia- love how people completely forget the fact we started 4-8 last year, and people were saying we sucked, our defense and offense was awful, Felton couldn't play with Amar'e, Gallo had been greatly over-rated and was garbage, we couldn't rebound and desperatly needed centre.

People realise Al Harrington is on the Nuggets roster don't they? How you used to hate him, but now he's with the Nuggets he's a talented player who adds depth to their bench. Cool.
