According to a report on Realgm he expressed his desire to no longer play in Denver as a backup. He makes too much money, but would be perfect on this team. Any way, under any cap management loopholes we could acquire him? He's a FA this summer, but we could definitely use him now.

He would not fit under the cap. Plus, who would we trade for him? Maybe if you packaged Douglas and Balkman, it might come close enough to Miller's salary to make the trade work, but why would Denver do that deal.

Knixkik - there is some history on Jeff Van Gundy blocking Miller to the Knicks when they had a shot.

I miss Rick Brunson

I know Andre Miller isn't much of a 3 point shooter, like Felton, he doesn't sound happy backing up Lawson.
I wonder if anyone is willing to part with a 1st rounder for his services anymore.
I wonder what TD and Fields value can be this year and if it would be enough to trade for Miller.
Denver is under the cap but they should be contending for a playoff spot so I don't see them dealing Miller unless they got back a pick or another PG as well.

Only Lawson, Julian Stone, and Affalo *combo guard* are capable of playing PG on their roster.

At this point, I don't know if adding a PG vs adding a SG *like Brandon Rush* that is athletic, with Iman playing the PG is better. With Baron Davis coming back...

+1 Miller is still a very good player. Plays smart, passes well, doesn't turn it over, penetrates first before shooting. He would be a better point than TD, Bibby, or Iman at this point.

sadly he would probably be our 2nd/3rd best post option, behind Melo and Baron Davis.

Love that the police waste such resources hunting a 'cannabis possessor'!

Good point. The other side of that is: why would a guy skip bail on cannabis possession?
