you could literally paste any year onto the top of this story and it would be accurate. Barkley says the Knicks are TURRRBLE every year.

He hates D'Antoni's system so this is no surprise. Doesn't think any team can win with D'Antoni as coach.

Paraphrasing some Highlights(Lowlights?) from Sir Charles:

On the Knicks:

They're not very good

They don't play defense

They don't rebound the ball

They don't have a point guard

Baron Davis health cannot hold up to run D'Antoni's system

On Iman Shumpert:

I like him. He's more of a 2 guard though

On the Eastern Conference:

They should cancel the rest of the NBA season and have Miami and Chicago play eachother

Only team that could challenge Bulls and Heat are Celtics until they lost Jeff Green

On the Western Conference:

Clippers have no backups

OKC is a jumpshooting team, not enough low post scoring to win NBA title

Best team in west is the Portland Trailblazers

I never realized how bad Barkelys speech impedement was until I saw him on SNL.

He was truly Turrr-rible! And he was just not funny.

I can't stand Barkley. He's just a loud mouth and he often contradicts himself within the same segment on his show. He hasn't really been watching the Knicks games. Perhaps the early games when we sucked, but I doubt that he's spent a lot of time going into the team like we do. He's spouting a lot of cliche's about the Knicks. Eventually the news will get around to him and he'll see the team for what it actually is this year.

I heard the interview...He doesn't sound like he has seen the team this year...He said the Knicks doesn't play D...He says we don't rebound..He was pumping up Boston, says they would have contended with Jeff Green...Can't worry about these cats...When does BD take the court...

Funny thing, after Boston got beat by Dallas, Jason Terry said Rondo is the only one on the team with energy, the rest of the guys are old...Chuck loves them..

Barkley, last season, said that the Knicks would not make the playoffs and yet the Nets would. He said the Nets were a better team. Smh.

Didn't they play a clip from an old game last night where the Knicks swept Philly from the playoffs? Barkley missed the last shot to lose the game and the Knicks brought a real broom out onto the hardwood and celebrated with it....sweeping the floor :)

Yeah, I don't know what he was thinking all those years. I'm not agreeing with how harsh he was this year though. I still think this is about a 36-30 team.

I thought Chuck was bad when he took Shaq down, but Oak doing him like this? Crazy.
