are all better than our Knicks as presently constructed.

What makes you so confident that New Jersey, Boston, or even Detroit can't beat us out.

I would like to see us dip into the lotto this year and scoop up a young big guy (Chris Marcus perhaps) and then make a run next year, as it is almost clear that we're not making any significant run in the playoffs this year, and need to get an infusion to go somewhere, anywhere in the future.

Upcoming draft isn't a big men draft like this years. There maybe a high school kid here and there or someone with just one year of college but the upcoming draft, besides yao ming, is all about PG's and SG's. There are a few very good PF's as well but no solution regarding to the center position. Furthermore, Chris Marcus is a huge guy, no hops but good inside game. He'll be a cracking backup center but a starting center? Big maybe.

Miami and Detroit? Miami maybe but Detroit no way they'll make the playoffs.

NJ is 5-1. If they keep their players healthy they could go far.

Chris Marcus - he's the next Tim Duncan, if given the chance to play, learn and grow as a player.

We also need to get Pat Croce as GM + president to replace Layden.

I've been saying this since offseason at least I won't be getting bashed now....Unless there are High School kids again...there are only 3 good players in this draft...Jason Williams, Yao Ming, and that PG from Memphis....then there are a few 1st round quality players and the rest are second rounders....the class of 2001-2004 was drafted last year...thanks for trading our picks away layden...We had ours, Phoenix's, and Lakers....for your information the lakers pick was traded to memphis....who then traded it too atlanta in the reef deal....who then traded it to indiana for a future first rounder...who drafted Jamal Tinsley

We had 3 first rounders and Tinsley was taken 28th, of course we could have had him!

We had 4 picks actually...but seattles was lottery protected...we sent that to toronto...we had phoenixes...the 18th...used to draft Jason Collins...la's, used on tinsleys, and ours don't know where that one went
