I'm very happy from watching shumpert and jorts!
they are playing great and there is room for improvment for both..

iman is a very good combo guard who can do everything on the floor - he is a better PG than toney right now
with him in the starting lineup we have a very long and athletic team, and when barron comes he will be great off the bench with toney.

jorts is doing everything you ask a big guy to do, he is even blocking shots
if he can improve the outside shot precentage he is a great roll player off the bench for the years to come.

I think Barron off the bench is the wrong move (when healthy is the key). He's ready to save Gotham City like Batman. For his first few games, sure...

But we need a highly motivated Barron, and he must be in that starting lineup to even come close to the old BD. He's already said he's had wet dreams playing with the BIG 3. I don't think he was talking about Toney Douglas, Mike Bibby and Bill Walker.

I ment barron starts next to fields and iman comes off the bench next to toney .

I still can't believe Jorts can hit 3's...what a pleasant surprise!

I have been really impressed with Harrellson. To get a big in the second round that can come in and be a part of the rotation right away is amazing. I also have liked what I have seen from Jordan.

Shumpert needs to start over Fields even when Baron Comes Back. Let Fields and TD play on 2nd unit together.

Fields will have to come off the bench with TD...Maybe with less pressure and expectations going from starter to bench, Fields game might wake up! You can tell he doesn't have a good feel for the game anymore, for whatever reason. He's not a starting caliber player right now.

I was a little surprise by his range, but it became a no brainer considering the coach and the system

I have been very impressed with this group. Definitely better than 2009 when we had 2 first round picks. Shumpert looks like the makings of a really good player. He will be our future SG and will play some PG when needed like right now. I didn't really expect more than an enegetic backup combo-guard, but at this point, i expect he will be a great starting SG, maybe even an all-star eventually. Jorts looks like a solid player to round out a rotation as the 9th or 10th man. His upside is limited, but he brings toughness and a solid skillset to the table. Definitely a great pickup in the second round.

Very solid draft - looks like we got 1 player with all-star potential/all-defensive team potential/dunking champion potential...

And a rotation big man who thinks he should be part of the 3pt shooting contest. What's really nice is that MDA tends to give his rookies a chance to play their way into big minutes early in the season.

Perhaps through injury, Jorts has gotten big minutes, but he outplayed his former college teammate/lottery pick. That alone gives him some street cred.

Lol strictly as a showcase and for exposure. Has nothing to with their games, of which it isn't close. Nate couldn't run an offense, and couldn't play defense unless it's at cornerback at his alma mater, Washington. Hey if it could lead to Kia commercials for Blake Griffin, why not Iman?

we had a great draft!
