The guy seems to think that he must shoot the ball within 3 seconds of touching it.

It's a little scary that this kid seems like he isn't being coached...He has so much talent and needs direction...

Rookie or not, the guy is a beast defensively. Nevermind his offense, he doesn't even know how to fully run a team and still had 7 dimes. His plus minus was +20 that's all I need to see

What's with all the snap judgments on this kid? I'm sure that he'll settle down as he plays more and more. Also do you really think that MDA isn't coaching a GUARD? Yeah I'm sure that's it. MDA with no idea how to coach a guard!!!

There we have a mid 1st rounder, finishing the game with a +/- of +20, 5 steals, 1 block , 7 assists, being at least the 2nd best Knick on the floor, making every single move for the opposing ball handler dangerous and all you say is "3 seconds or less"?

But thats the point with us knicks fans! I had half a bottle of whine and were ready to bring the scotch out after that first 15 minutes. Then Shumpert happened, the defense took a 180 degree turn and the offense actually became one (then I got the scotch to celebrate ^^)

Is it really necessary to judge a team/player/coach/system or whatever based on minutes or single plays? Cant we just be happy to have at least 5-6 players that will bring a certain degree of "game" while getting better as a group?

You can't blame us fans cause of previous seasons. and some of the gripes were legitimate. Douglas, Switching on Screens, Sub Patterns. But it seems D'Antoni has seen the light quicker than previous seasons so the complaints should dwindle really quick.
