Yep, so true. I think with Fields especially, getting touches early made him feel more in touch with the game and further able to express himself with his propensity to time a run into the paint for a tip-in or his favoured back door cuts.
With Melo acting as a cog in the wheel as opposed to the final stop, the rest of the team can become a part of the offense instead of just being facilitators for the iso. He should get big credit for that.
