Pretty good article by Big C....Check out the youtube clip of Arenas in the playoffs vs the Hawks. The clip shows Arenas running exclusive pick and roll...

I totally agree with this. Walsh cleared guys out if they stressed D'Antoni. Not sure what Grunwald would do but I am pretty sure that Arenas would be a stressful guy to coach and have in the locker room. Arenas and D'Antoni are not a good fit. Both need to recognize it.

Not saying I'm for the signing of Arenas but wanted to post Big C's article which made some good points. If anything Arenas would give us the 3rd scoring option we desperately need not to mention, he could easily slide to the 2 when Davis comes back.

I agree Arenas does carry a bit of baggage, but when you are at/over the cap and are struggling, these are the decisions you are left to mull over.

Arenas is a much better option than Bibby. Not even that close. Again, Arenas has his baggage and I'm not saying I'm committed to signing him, but Arenas can still get in the paint. Bibby hasn't seen the paint in over 4 yrs.

Arenas is garbage. Please stop with this. The guy can't play basketball anymore.

Atleast Bibby can make a pass here and there. All you'll see out of Arenas is chucks that make Crawford look like Michael Jordan.

anyone who wants to sign arenas should be forced to watch every second he played for the magic last year.

Is this 5 weeks timetable for Baron based on a new report or simply a guess?

Last night the TNT scroll said he was 2-3 weeks away. I think everyone is guessing. For what it's worth, Hahn though he'd be back by MLK

Yep, we could really use someone who shoots 34.4%, and can average 3.2 assists and 2.2 TO- the 27.5% 3pt shooting would just be the icing on the cake! Our ofense would be completely cured. Plus we'd give him a whole 3 games to play great before we started despairing again.

Only Baron knows when he will be back

Valentines Day sounds about right

No to Arenas. He is neither a lead guard or recognized for making the guys around him better.

I am a wizards season ticket holder and a knick fan. I have watched Arenas play hundreds of games at PG and he can pass--- though he is not very willing---and he used to be able to shoot---lights out good clutch shooter.

What I see now is that he never recovered from his multiple knee surgeries and lost a step. He has no hops. His lateral quickness is not the same so he is a terrible defender. He was not such a good defender in his prime because he showed no interest in defending, but now he is physically unable I think.

He is also moody. One minute a clown; the next, very dark. We also know he is impulsive and lacks good judgement. I will say this much, the knicks need someone to step up until BD gets back and he may be a good risk.

I would want to meet with him and see if his head is on straight, if he is ready to accept a role as a pg AND 2 guard or third guard off the bench. Whatever. If he works out well and is healthy and ready to contribute immediately and will take the veterans minimum and the knicks don't want to be patient and accept that this team will not jell before the second half, than lets give him a 1 year contract. The Knicks could cut him if things are not working out.

I wonder if he would even come here. Maybe he should wait for the Lakers bc they could use someone off the bench to score---if he can still score.

So anyways have a happy new year y'all frm DC!

Man, this is like, we have a really nice tent we built, or a good turf house, and we are now putting plastic in place of windows.
