Can we sign someone? Rondo schooled us all game cause our combo guards have no clue how to run point or defend point. Now with Iman out two weeks, we are really going to need help. When is Baron expected back?

Rondo is top 3 pg in the league...not going to use this game as the defining moment...shumpert looked great. Douglas scored around 20.

Hopefully Bibby is able to get back for the next game. Douglas is just going to have to hold it down until Baron comes back. Hopefully he gets back in a few weeks...

not before Bibby, as much as we all would love Baron Davis back, it would probably be best not to rush him back, and to slowly work him back in the rotation.
We might have to look for the D League, for another some help for the mean time. Antonio Daniel is a big PG, but hes not exactly young either.
We could call Green back at SF/SG, but he wouldn't help with the PG situation neither, with 1 roster spot left.
Walker doesn't look like he has his legs at all. He wouldn't be able to help the PG duties either.

will probably have to step it up in the mean time.
Balkman didn't play much today but that was probably because of the match up with Celtics.
They had 3 guards out there more, with Balkman being a forward.
He probably would have got more minutes if Pierce was playing.

Whether Rondo schooled us or not, we need somebody that can run this offense. Forget the name, bring stability to this offense and we will be on another level. We missed Bibby dearly today.

we have a lot of injuries. We might have to call Cleveland up and try to work something out.

It's too early to panic. Plus you have to take into account the team we played. The Celtics are a GREAT defensive team. They're not just good. They're GREAT. That said. TD is not a PG and we really need a PG to make just basic common sense plays to get our finishers off. Amar'e and Tyson are beasts and need to be setup. Melo can create his own shot but everyone else not named Shumpert needs a PG to set them up.

I think Davis will get back sooner than the estimates, so we need to fill in as much as possible until then. This team is gonna win with defense and an ugly offense for a while.

Only reason our offense was finally clicking last ear was becuase we finally had a point guard. I miss Felton.

Rondo only schooled us because I jinxed it- every Boston game I've seen, Rondo has gone for over 30 points and shot great- I always laugh when I see his season stats to find he's a 10ish point scorer and a poor shooter!

I think we'll go with what we've got, to be honest, and just hope Bibby and TD can keep us afloat before BD and Shumpert get back.

No reason to panic, of course, but we do need to react to Shump falling down and Douglas not being able to run PG as a starter. With Iman out, I'd start Bibby and bring Douglas either as the starter at 2 or off the bench for instant offense. We need TD to be successful, so he has to play. But we need real PGs to run our offense and TD isn't one.

I'd sign a PG that can help now and worry about filling another position when Davis comes back.

PG or SG. Any decent backcourt will have career nights against us. What hurts is we have two combo guards in TD and Shump. They are both really good but as of right now, neither is good enough to run point or big enough to play SG. Hopefully Baron heals fast.

The Knicks are going to be able to get away with the low quality PG play against many of the teams in the NBA. Only the good teams will really be able to make us pay for not having a PG. So long as we can defend and stick it out until we get our guys back, I don't think it's something that will necessarily set the team back early in the season.
