Perhaps after all the evidence of Knicks picks being doubted only to turn out to be pretty decent with change the minds of the doubters out there that knock every pick this team makes. I'm pullin for the kid to keep working and improving. It's the best way to improve a team when you don't have the money to just go and get more talent. Homegrown talent is the key. Every good team needs a certain amount of good homegrown talent.

I am having Oakley flashbacks, the way how Jorts rips those rebounds away. He might be better rebounder then D Lee when all is said and done.

I will admit I was worried when I saw him in the training camp video but he is a hustler. Both picks look like they are going to contribute which is huge.

D'Antoni also mentioned a 10-12 man rotation so plenty of time for them to play.

He reminds me of a slightly bigger Brad Miller who was a good tough center that had range. I just hopes works on his body like Kevin Love continues to do.

i think he is closer to Lambier than Brad Miller.
Brad Miller never had any lift on him, Josh actually could jump.
Brad Miller's best weapons were his court vision, ability to pass, and mixed with his shot/range.
It's quite unique for someone his size to have that combo. Being a legit center, he pulls the opponent out, where usually at that size, they aren't comfortable.
He see's and can pass over peoples heads and hits cutters with a nice touch.

Jorts is a big surprise so far, I didn't realize he could jump the way he could and had decent mobility.
Can't wait till he gains more confidence and continues to develop.
Looks like Donnie found another 2 gems for us before he left.
It looks like he its all hitting him, playing in MSG, in that spotlight, you see it on his face, like its so surreal.
But he stays focus and not intimidated at all, big ups to Jorts...

I love what I am seeing from him. He seems to be humble yet confident.
Hope he can keep improving and become a solid rotation guy.

he plays hard, he likes his role, he fills a need and I noticed the big guns really like him and what he does. When that jumper starts to fall he will be a great bench player for us
