well you are persistent about getting a new backcourt when it's totally not necessary.

Session has not hit a 3 pointer since the 90's.

And why does CLE trade the guy who is mentoring Irving?

And, you can't just TRADE the 2.5 exception.

running offense is more important than hitting 3 point shots. He made some 3's LOL(3-15 last yr ) finding the type pg makes and creates easier basket for interior team. Douglas has not shown he can run and start at PG at quality level.

I prefer that the Knicks have continuity for once. Knicks got Baron, TD, Bibby. Let's roll with that.

At this point, we need some more defense. A good 3/4 that can guard SFs and PFs would be nice to add. I am comfortable with Douglas and Bibby manning the point for now. I expect Davis back by mid-January, and we can always give Shumpert some run there.

Why on earth would we trade for Sessions when we just signed BDiddy? Makes no sense.

Exactly.

Take off the "Trader Joe" hat and step away from the vehicle.

We should be thankful if (and it is a larger IF) this band of hired guns learns to trust each other by early March.

The first four game losing streak will be a pop quiz on the meaning of team.

MDA SSOl requires a PG who can hit a long three.

Ramon is a good player but Im not sure he is a fit.

Just read a quote from AH at practice where he said Melo is running the point full time...he's probably the best 3 pt shooter on the team. This team is going to score alot of points. I also can't wait to see how Shumpert matches up with guards like Rondo, Wade and Rose. He seems to have the lateral quickness, long arms to stay in front of them and frustrate them. Not saying he can shut them down, but I think he has the best package of skills to slow them down and also make them expend energy on the defensive end. This team, like Shumpert has a high ceiling man!

MDA will have to adjust to his players. You build a team around the players on the roster, not around an offensive gimmick that has yet to prove itself worthy. We have a dominating front line and a lob-master/playmaker in Davis. I don't care on iota if he can hit 3s. I am sick of seeing jacked up 3s bricking our hopes for more wins. Let Davis do his thing and setup our 3-headed Hydra to take over games... even if it takes more than seven seconds.

OK with roster than! or else don't TD or Bibby at PG. I don't want to take Eman out of starting lineup!

+1. The error of rigidity has ended with or without D'Antoni.

Till such time Davis is back, I don't have a problem trying new things. I am just not ready for another month and a half of TD running helter skelter down the court and jacking up contested 3 pointers. I don't think Gumpy is going to start so Melo can facilitate, I would like to see what hat looks like. Though if it were up to me I would open with Bibby @ point even if it's only for a few minutes.
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

I have had the same thought many times - I think this board tends to get high on certain players and they really want to see them in the NYK uniform for whatever reason.
