Thought you might be interested in these two videos, since the Knicks are thinking about Baron Davis. He seems to me to have a "star" mentality, maybe even a bit narcissistic. He seems quite comfortable in what seem to be several very strange situations. I just don't get the feeling that he will turn out to be the ultimate "team" player, sharing the rock, instead of taking key shots himself. We need someone at point guard who puts the team ahead of himself.
I would love to be proven wrong. Does anyone know based on watching him play as to whether he likes sharing the rock unselfishly, or whether instead he prefers making himself look good. Cleveland has an excellent point guard, who they are paying a great deal of money to, and yet they are ready to eat almost all of the entire contract, just to get Davis off the team. I feel uneasy about him and don't have enough information yet to reach a different conclusion. (Someone else who seemed self absorbed was someone named Marbury).
