Healthier than BD can be slightly be better than Bibby especially come playoff time. 2 yrs removed from injury and was playing better against the hawks in playoffs. not accustomed playing off the bench and not accustomed playing SG. He likes to dominate the ball and In D-toni system does work. Need better PG.

I didn't watch him in the playoffs, I did watch him for some games after the he was traded to Orlando.
We don't have much roster spots, he doesn't seem to have the legs, ability to penetrate at all, and can no longer get his shot off like how he used to.
He is COMPLETELY a different player, I don't know will he recover, or if he will even be 50% the player he was....

I do not mind, inviting him to a 10 day contract, or to training camp, but I highly doubt in him.
Most importantly, I want do not want like idea of players trying to create stats that are out of their skill set.
I want to promote TEAM basketball, not a player trying to boost his value for the future contract....

Here's the thing -- we have no bench and no scoring off the bench. That said you have 2 'stars' that can dominate the ball -- so maybe Amare sits a little earlier in the 1st and then plays more of the 2nd qtr when Melo sits... but otherwise, why not bring in a super 6 -- like we were trying with JCraw... someone who can come in and have free reign to light it up once the starters are off the floor?

My opposition is only that the Knicks haven't established what their character, demeanor and chemistry looks like. Until you do that, you don't want a player with arguably terrible character/chemistry in your clubhouse.

I dunno though... for $2.5M?

likes to play 7-8 players in his rotation.

Jordan
Jeffries

Jorts/Iman/Green/Hunter

I'd also guess that Iman has the ability to challenge any of the guards above him for their role, but early on, I doubt he gets tremendous run unless he blows people away. I could see him winning the starting SG role though... I think he would be phenomenal there but it really depends on where his head is.

I think he is the worst of all our options, but we are getting to a point where he may be the only remaining option.
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!
