Williams’ biggest weakness as an NBA prospect clearly revolves around his play on the defensive end. He lacks lateral quickness in a major way and struggles badly trying to stay in front of athletic slashers already at the D-League level.

That, and his tendency to commit the ultimate "reach around" fouls...

Wrong Reggie. You are thinking Reggie Evans.

says the kid can score...but weak on D mostly due to his lack of quickness. http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Reggie-Williams-1232/

I really want Reggie Williams.

Now THIS guy is good for our team. An efficient scorer and decent defender.

can't say i've watched the kid play much, but from what i've read, his defense is suspect.

It's better than Crawford's.

Anyone know why his minutes plummeted last year?

Monta was healthy, Curry was getting more time, Dorrell Wright excelled.

got any stats to back up that claim? because atlanta was certainly a better defensive team than golden state the past two years.

Not sure what that has to do with Crawford.

Wow, really? Is there anything that Crawford can't do? He's now also responsible for Atlanta being a good defensive team, not Al Horford and Josh Smith.

just curious what you're basing the claim that reggie williams is a decent defender and crawford is a horrible one. it was an honest question.

Man that kid has twigs for legs! He seems like he is an active guy. Can't really say I remember him much from watching games, but his stroke looks good. He's not a replacement for what Jamal would bring to the team tho. Totally different player.
