Hi everyone --

My name is Emily, and I'm a psychology graduate student at Cornell University (not to mention a born-and-bred New Yorker and Knicks fan!). I'm conducting a study about how people predict future events, and am looking at it in the context of sports. I'm recruiting Knicks fans to take a VERY SHORT survey -- it takes all of about 2 or 3 minutes. If you'd be willing to take it I'd be very grateful!

You might want to have that designed a little better b/c I couldn't see anything to type in on the first question page regarding predicting winning percentage, so I went to he next page which took me to the "What's my age and sex" page... and that was it. There was no way I could go back... I then tried to do it again and it wouldn't let me.

Good luck on your study anyway.

Make sure the answer man takes your quiz, he uses a crystal Spalding basketball to predict the future. He even gets it right once every 25 or so attempts.

I did it, really was short. I hope you post the results once you're done. I'm assuming you're averaging the win percentages based on gender and age. I think that would be pretty interesting.
