They are very quiet. Sneaky quiet.

Who plays the Point?

They still have Miller, and signed Battier?

They are one player away from blowing the doors off the east.

Can they add one?

The chic thing to do now is pair bigs with bigs.

Lebron for Dwight?

Would a chip come closer to Miami with Dwight?

I think Joel Anthony is the center.

Pretty much the same roster as last year with Eddy Curry and Battier...They are high on the PG pick in the first round...Curry appearently is in shape ...Pat Riley is all over Curry and made sure he came to camp in shape..Charlmers and JJ resigned..Mike miller still there

They are saying a lot of positive things about Curry. He is still young hopefully he gets his career back on track.

he'll stay "thin" long enough to get paid again and then he'll go back to his normal self

Each day that goes by without me seeing him on Discovery Health is a miracle.

Eddie was only good on offense when he was healthy and Miami doesn't need offense they need a big man to rebound and defend and Eddie did neither when he did play so I'm not worried
No layups!

Heat are still going to be the same tough team as always along with the Bulls. Knicks will have to earn their place among the Elite. That's why it was so important to land Tyson and bring in Jared, Jordan and Jorts. The 3J's will be needed to take some of the pressure off of Tyson. It's a very good thing to have backup behind the main guy. Heat have brought in a lot of bodies.

# HEAT Signs Terrel Harris
# HEAT Signs Derrick Byars
# HEAT Signs Jeremy Wise
# HEAT Signs Mickell Gladness
# HEAT Signs Cameron Jones
# HEAT Signs Eddy Curry
# HEAT Signs Norris Cole
# HEAT Signs Shane Battier
# HEAT Re-Signs Juwan Howard
# HEAT Re-Signs James Jones
# HEAT Re-Signs Mario Chalmers

The lack of a point isn't a problem unless LBJ gets traded for Dwight

Riley just said he's happy seeing Miller, Battier, Wade, James play at the same time, like his Showtime Lakers used to. The standard structure doesn't really apply to this team

Even though they need a center to rebound and defend (which Eddy is terrible at), dumping the ball to him to start sets is going to create openings for their other great starters (if Eddy learns to kick out). He is slow to get up and down the court as well. But, when the offense is set, to have him in the middle if they try to defend him one on one, it's easy for Eddy to score (if he doesn't bowl over the defender.) Lots of if's with Eddy but I saw all the talent he has. Hopefully he doesn't put it together after all he did to us and considering Miami is in out division.

That fat bastard won't make it out of training camp. I wonder what kind of deal they gave him.

it's genious really. riley figures if they sign eddy, he'll out the buffet spreads pre and post game so then they don't have to worry about anyone else getting fat.

I'd love to see what they're saying about this on Miami fan forums.

Just to lazy to bother to look

Can't wait to see FatEddy waiting for touches while playing with the Big 3, not getting the ball, and then loping down court, watch one of them dunk, then lope back up court, too late to play any D, then lope back down court...

Go to China, young man

Go to China, young man

because anytime you can sign Eddy Curry to play on a running team with the expectation that he will contribute to the hustle stats YOU HAVE TO DO IT
