Or a power/small foward teetering on the line like KVH?

I'm pretty sure he's a true small forward.

Yeah TT is a natural 3.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Hes a pseudo 3-4 in fact he started out the season with Milwaukee playing 4 when Skinner got hurt for like 15+ games until he went down

we got ripped off in that trade KVH is much better, tougher and can take over games at times. Although Tim Thomas is 6-10 240, he plays very soft and has as much trouble on the D end as KVH against quick SF. TT is not an ultra athletic SF guys like Correy Maggette Desmond Mason Lebron James are really a prototypical 3 man. TT is a pseudo 3-4 who plays small for his size.

* Sources confirmed The Post's report that Keith Van Horn threatened to retire - through angry agent David Falk - after the trade was consummated. Van Horn showed up a day late to Milwaukee and passed his physical just an hour before Knick tip-off, nearly jeopardizing Tim Thomas' and Nazr Mohammed's Knick debuts. Meanwhile, Van Horn flew back home for family matters and missed his Buck debut.

Tim Thomas always wanted to be a Knick. IMHO, he will get better and we'll see him get better numbers here than he has or would anywhere else.

The same statement can be made regarding Marbury, for the same exact reason.

This is why Isiah Thomas traded KVH. We need players with mental toughness.

I think KVH got an insiders view of what some of us fans on the outside are now starting to see... The knicks are putting together something special.. and the energy in the Garden is starting to reflect that. Marbury touched on that briefly when he talked about Tim's outing today... How it could be intimidating and also feel very good when the fans are on your side.. I think he saw something great happening here and wanted to be a part of it... too bad he's not part of the puzzle... He should be tougher than that to complain through his agent...

Knicks RULE!!!!!!

If you were playing would you wanna leave nyc(MSG) for Milwaukee NOW?

Most players only gte hyped( or play) for the money , KVH wanted to win in tri-state area to prove philly and jersey wrong. Dude has a reason to want to retire Whe Tracy Mcgrady thought of retiring this season because of teams play, nobody called him a mental midget!
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

not true Briggs... he is overly unselfish at time, but plays well late in games. As for KVH "taking over games" he's great at that for 3 quarter every now and then, at which point you go into the 4th hoping for he doesnt disappear. He cant play D, he cant even keep his man in front of him, he's got terrible hands, is TO prone, is foul prone and just isnt reliable late in games.

Everyone in the league knows this, which is why he's been traded for 36 year old Deke, Glen Robinson and now TT. THATS his value.

sometimes guys get traded multiple time even though they play well--look at Jimmy Jackson 11 times traded.

KVH played very well for us--there is no DOUBT imho that he brought his game to the next level here. We already have a 4th Q specialist in Marbury--hes the guy who dictates the last 5 minutes.

Tim Thomas is not as good as KVH--even Isiah said it. In fact I dont think it's even close. Tim Thomas is a bench player, KVh is a starter. I would rather start Penny than TT.

TT is going to fit better in NY with Marbury than KVH did. Let's see TT play some meaningful time, and learn the plays, before we start saying what a horrible trade it was.

and look at Jim Jackson... he's a good role player, but those guys are a dime a dozen. We have 2-3 guys like him right now. Steven Jackson, James Posey.. these guys are nice players but not hard to find or get.

How do you know ISiah and Wilkins didnt like Penny more and thats why they trade KVH?

KVH wasnt the difference maker, and he was playing his best ball because he had no pressure. Look, he was a good player for us, no doubt and I had no problems with him, but I'm not upset he got moved either.

Marbury has elevated everyone around him, he's the key to all this, not KVH.
