Lots of teams have set themselves up to make a good run at Dwight. Only one can get him. I still see D12 in Lakers gold and purple when it's all said and done. Possibly with Chris Paul next to him.

I'd hate that with a passion. I can't believe how easy it is for the Lakers to simply reload with super stars while a team like us needs to struggle mightily to get to that point.

Also, how unoriginal it is to have Dwight end up a Laker? Do stars want to simply re-do past stars' lives instead of creating their own legacy? "Im Dwight Howard, aka Shaq 2."

The Lakers have no realistic chance to get Howard in a trade or as a free agent unless they don't do the Paul trade and give up Gasola and Bynum to the Magic. It's not happening.
