Going to apologize in advance, I know there have been similar topics over the offseason at least regarding streaming.

I'm trying to get NBA League Pass in time for the season. I no longer have cable, and am looking into either Broadband or through Roku (if anyone is familiar with it and the quality of it), but I have heard issues with local blackouts.

Anyone a league pass member that knows the best way to go about setting it up?

Thanks.

You will be subject to blackouts if you live in the NY area or if your area cable provider has MSG. Also nationally televised games are not offered....so basically no playoff games. I wanted to do the same thing and those 2 things prevented me from going forward.

Haha trust me, that was my first stop.

Maybe I'm overlooking it, wouldn't be the first time, but I've only seen the options for Direct TV, Dish, and inDemand. Figured I'd try another resource on here.

Alright, thanks Andrew. May just have to look into online streaming somewhere.

it's not available just yet. I contacted DirecTV about it because I'm an early bird subscriber and haven't heard anything. They said they are still finalizing a deal with the NBA. Sure that will be done before the first preseason game on the 17th.

Long time Early Bird subscribers (during a normal season) pay 4payments of 40bucks. My uncle became an early bird subscriber last year and he pays 4payments of 47. If you don't order before the start of the season, its significantly more.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

If you live in New York why not just get the MSG network. Unless things have changed, blacked out games would be re-aired on MSG2 or Knicks in 60. That was like 10years ago, so maybe its changed.
