i think it's mostly about the timing. chances the same deal goes thru at the trade deadline are pretty high, i'd think

Wojo saying several owners went to Stern and protested New Orleans trading Paul. New Orleans was getting a ton of assets in this deal. For a team choosing to rebuild they were setting themselves up nice. I think Stern's power has decreased after negotiations and the new deal. This was a good deal for the Hornets in my opinion.

i agree. i actually thought it made more sense for the hornets than the lakers, unless lakers were gonna get dwight, too.

It seems like it has to violate the cba. It was reported that Paul is going to look into taking legal action.
