This is where it gets interesting. I read that the new CBA allows for teams to renegotiate contracts to 40% below original value if they stretch the length of the contract out.

So if we do get Chandler then I guess him, STAT and Melo would have the ability to take less so Knicks can go out and sign someone like CP3.

So many things still not clear until CBA is released. Maybe that's why so many things blew up today...deal is final and teams are moving forward based on neew info.
