martin - you hit the damn nail on the head!!!

here is a guy who has ONLY averaged 16.4 points, 3 rebounds and 2.4 assists over an eight year nba career and he professes to be the best shooting guard in the league.

give me a break!!!

i'll never understand why the knicks didn't just let this fool walk.

Well I kind of understand why they didn't let him walk...because they would be much worse off than now...but I do understand the frustration of paying someone the max when they really don't deserve it.

Houston has hit some big time shots for the Knicks but
as you guys said, he's a disappearing act on defense, overpaid, and yet
to show himself to be a consistent superstar. The people making the big
bucks on the Knicks should be Thomas and Spree. They're more complete players.
Lets hope Houston's words are true that NY hasn't seen the best of him. He
has potential but shouldn't have received 100 mil. Knicks. But Knicks had let him gohe would come back and haunt them because he may not be the best 2 guard in the league but he is definitly one of the few pure shooters in the game today when he is on. Let's hope it's often.

I am beginning to think that when Allen watches tapes of the his games he secretly sneaks in the video of his game vs Miami, checks over his shoulder to make sure that no one is looking, and watches The Shot over and over again, whispering to himself, "I da man, I da man."

Um, you think Kurt is gettin a raw deal? I'm not sure about that. What I am sure about is Houston being as soft as my granny's ass and that he needs to sack-up. He said his game is gonna be different this year. After 100 million dollars, it better be!

we cant focus on the past anymore. basically what im saying, houston better step up and become what his physical talents would allow, and stop bein so unaggressive, or else we really ARE f***ed for the next 6 years.

Amazing. I'm a Houston fan (somewhat less after he won the NY state lottery), but now this. After striking oil what does he do, he takes a vacation in the Hamptons for two weeks, to ease his mind. Give me a break.

Or something like; "I like jump shots. I can make jump shots. I need an open look and no, Spree, I will not switch to the small forward position cause those guys are bigger than me. I think I am well deserved of the money I am making but I know that for that kinda cash, I should go to the hole more. But I don't like it in there, it's scary in there. Guys like AI can do it, and I have a better jump shot, so I'll work on that. Besides, AI is smaller than I am so he can go into the paint more, not me, I am going to sit here and give 50% of my game to the Knicks. Oh, hold on, where's my Bible?"
