First things first, we would love chris paul to come, but its not happening... so with that said lets move forward and give amare and melo some teammates.

The following are in no particular order, and nothing special but with melo and amare could do the lil things to push us over the top

1. Vlad radmanovic---- Yes we need a center, no he's not a center, but is 6'10 and can shoot
2. Peja stojakovic---- Veteran, can play the shawne williams role, hit open 3's
3. Michael Redd---- Bucks have too many guards, can be good off the bench, good shooter, injury prone
4. Joel pryzbila--- 7 footer, big body
5. james jones--- great shooter, played cheap last yr in miami , can do the same in NY
6. Nenad krstic---- Shooting nig man
7. Josh Howard---- Not who he used to be, but if he's willing to take a one yr deal to show ppl he's still got it, why not do it in NY?
8. Aaron Gray--- Big body
9. Jeff Foster--- Just big, his best days are behind him
10. T.J ford--- Can still play, if we sign him, can use billups in a trade
11. Krylo fesenko--- Mozgov 2.0
12. Reggie Evans--- coming off an injury, but is a rebounding machine
13. Mike dunleavy--- knows the game, can play multiple positions, great shooter
14. samuel Dalembert--- moves good for a big guy, will commmand money though
15. Kwame Brown--- Dont like him, but will come cheap, and he's not much worse than jeffries
16. Shane Battier--- Is an awesome player, plays smart
17. Leandro Barbosa--- Hopefully declines his option, reunites with dantoni, this would move fields to the bench and give us another scorer

shawne williams does everything radmanovic does. pass.

love mike redd. we need a 2.

foster and reggie evans would greatly improve our rebounding, which was the biggest weakness last season.

Of the two- am I wrong to think Reggie Evans might have more in his tank left than Foster? I just checked- they're both up there- Evans at 31 and Foster turning 35 this January.

Shawne Williams is a UFA, i really don't think he will take a 1 year minimum deal to stay in New York. He sounds like he does want to stay and will even come back at a cheaper price tag but at his age, role, and he didn't make to much in his career, its possible this could be his last best deal. Unless we offered the full 1 year MLE or close to it, I do not expect him to come back. I am just guessing, it would take about 1-2m with 3 years to keep him. 4-5m for 3 years.

We don't have much roster spots, that is why I am interested in cutting a few players to make room.

Rautins
Walker
Balkman

I would like to add 2 centers, with one being able to play PF/C.
and 3 G/F not including resigning Shawne Williams if the price is right.

Joel Prizbilla
Aaron Gray
Fesenko
Kristic
Sean Williams- ex Net
Josh Boon - ex Net
Kurt Thomas, he did very well last year for the Bulls, especially when Noah and Boozer even was out. But he doesn't provide the shot blocking we need. But he does provide great reboudning. So I don't mind signing him, but if we do, I would hope we also sign a shot blocking center like Joel Prizbilla as well.

Kris Humphries - he had his first double double year last season. If he doesn't get multi year deals in the MLE money range, its possible he would do a 1 year full MLE to play here in New York.

I would only like to add 1 shooter to replace Rautins role.

Peja
Redd
James Jones
Dunleavy - is the better 2 way player with all round skills and size
Shannon Brown

Shane Battier
Prince

I feel both of these players would be great, I don't think we they will sign a 1 year full MLE money though.

Grant Hill I would love to add him, hes a smart team player and knows Dantoni's system.

I really want to add a few veterans, to teach our younger ones on the court, at practice, and in the locker room. I really don't consider Melo a veteran that will by example.
We could really use the leadership and advice from veterans that are all about basketball and team concept.

Sean William is beasting in Israel. He's averaging 4 block shots a game, 8 rebounds, 13 points and is hitting 70 percent of his two-point shots. I would take a chance on him and another veteran big.

If Redd is healthy he'd be an excellent pick up. The man can shoot.....

I think Fesenko might be in Europe. He would be a nice player to add if he is available.
I'm tired,I'm tired, I'm so tired right now......Kristaps Porzingis 1/3/18
