I don't know what it is but, once you get on his shyt list, there is no coming off. Even if you get traded to another team, let a few season pass like Steph did. Mike came in with the intention of giving Steph the business. This is a coach that holds a grudge. Hell, he can be so arrogant at times I swear if the crowd started to chant for a player he was about to sub in, he would change his mind. I don't know what Balk did, but the fact that coach plays Jarad over him is weird. the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. ![]() What the heck are you talking about? Revisionist history? Potential? What? This guy was always a grade A scrub!
D'Antoni may have a crappy rotation but Balkman isn't a fault of his. Balkman never played for Karl either and he was playing guys who pretty much had similar skill sets like Yakhouba Diawara over him because they at least worked hard. Balkman sucks. Sucked for us during the Isiah era, sucked for the Nuggets, sucks for us now. Once we release him he will never be on an NBA roster again. Please, let this topic die. See my post above for the truth about Balkman's future here, but as for this notion about MDA's doghouse, it's really about showing the coach your best from day one and also it's about numbers. the numbers don't favor some players and Balk is one of those guys. If you hustle and execute MDA will give you a shot. Fields, Shawne and Walker prove that. It's not about like or dislike. It's about what a player does to help the team win. What happened with Steph's career after leaving the knicks? Really the same question can be asked of a lot of the players in his "doghouse". Most went on to do NOTHING or continued to be mediocre! A very few have found some success. Overall i'd side with the coach in this instance based on the evidence. |

Just cause the guy didn't play in Denver means absolutely nothing. It's not like George Karl is a logical guy. The guy runs a team worse than our current coach so, that does not validate your opinion. When Balkman played for Isiah when he was coaching, the guy made an impact larger than Jarad has or, are you too young to remember that?? You have an opinion but it has nothing to do with reality. Renaldo is a hustle energy guy who like Jarad can't shoot but is much more athletic and when HE PLAYED FOR US he showed a higher motor. No One at the time was calling for him to be benched which. should say all that needs to be said. the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. I also think some of it had to do with depth and his wanting to go with established players like Brick Mason. Also, he got caught up in the forward log jam with Bill Walker, Shawne William, Gallo, Chandler, then Anthony post trade. Where were the minutes??? the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between.
