The Knicks aren't going to trade Melo or Amare. We won't be able to get Rondo.

What do they want and what are planning to do at the point?

Rondo loses one bit of quickness he is useless. Dude can't shoot with those tree frog hands!

Kid is fun to watch.

Guess they figure they can make one more run without him, hold an amnssty card and wait for one to retire (pierce or cocoa puffs) then exile the other and they go into rebuild mold. Maybe goal is to get Rivers kid via draft in a year or two.

I agree. Rondo is in the perfect situation right now. Any team that trades for him better have really good shooters.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Billups makes Rondo money ....... Just saying with picks and Fields and walker Billups for Rondo finacionally its doable..... Doubt it happens tho!

Rondo def helps us tho we have enough scoring!

His d alone will help us win 60 on this team

You know what, the more I think of it, I could Billips in Boston and Doc would likely trust him more than Rondo. They need more scoring from the point and being a decent defender, he would fit in. I think age might be an impediment. The Big 3 aren't exactly young, do they want a point guard moving into the twilight of his career.

I don't think the Knicks have a first round pick to trade until 2016. I don't think including Shumpert gets you Rondo.

The Celts had better be careful what they wish for. See the Perkins trade.

The Celts are being smart. They knows once Garnett, Pierce, and Allen leave that Boston is going nowhere. Rondo is a very good PG with no jump shot.

Rondo would be a good replacement for the aging Fisher but Rondo needs to be on a stacked team to shine.

I do too but, I can't see that happening since I'm sure they would try to fleece us.

The thing that most people over look is Chuancey is a Champion already...... And his money comes off the books!

Amnesty was a must for new CBA and money coming off books is a huge asset!

Food for thought you get a serviceable starting PG who knows how to win and his 13 million
Off the books is a huge Asset for a team such as NO or any market looking to dump salary for a huge FA class

We have an asset in Chuancey kinda makes Melo trade way in our favor

plus, NO will likely lose west so, they might as well start their rebuilding process. Chauncey would give them a nice bit of cap relief.
