is houston's knees continue to trouble him, we will be in a lot of trouble without another SG. if anyone missed it, he was on TNT repenting for all of his bad behavior in the past and has something to prove. i don't see why you'd be ok with rasheed who would never even acknowledge how much of an @ss he is.

dude u can pick jr up for the league minimum and he's a baller. the only problem was his attitude, and he's apparently had a complete 180..though if he ever was a problem you can just waive him

bottom line is he is 10 times as talented as Shandumb anderson

if you were a screw-up and blew all your dough on hookers and platinum, not to mention the fact that nobody wanted you on their roster, and your agent told you "only thing you could do bro is go on t.v. and blow smoke". would you do it?

Wakeup people, Houston is practially done, knee problems like these never go away, he might be actually closer to retiring then coming back 100%. They best you'll see is the hobbles bum that went on the IR to begin with. Damn I hate Houston.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

man, we have short memory. jr rider pretty much single handedly brought down the atlanta team from a playoff team to lottery hope. also, he did not get along with wilkens. that is why wilkins left. so no we will not get him. he has been out of basketball for over two years and he is over thirty. you think he is the solution for houston? come on.

Rider was a good player just couldn't stop smoking weed. Maybe being out the league and realzing that he's alot better than most guys out there he deserves a second chance.

Knicks don't have time to experiment with Rider....they already have Demarr Johnson at that position.

sorry, no theres not. not for "free" like that, where you can have them right now without giving up a player.

and yea he was a bad influence in the past, the whole thing is that he is repenting and accepting his mistakes and now says he wants to prove himself. you sign him, can waive him if anything happens.

I thought he was makin big bucks on TV annalacist or something. If they can give him the minnimum, sign him for 10 days. if nothing happens, sign him for the rest of the season

How old is J.R. Rider again?

I remember when cats called him EZ-Rider... LOL
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!
