These greedy SOB's can't come together on a couple of percentage points and are now holding us hostage in the process...This country is nervous at our economic prospects...We are now waiting for the next shoe to drop in Greece, Italy, and Spain...This could mean doom and gloom for our stock market, the Euro, and then more American jobs...Are they really whining about splitting $4 billion dollars, and we should wait until they are done?...A few weeks from now I gonna get tired of all this...Maybe someone should come up with a way to organize a legitimate boycott when they decide to resume...

I'm dying for some hoops and I know some people out there who are hurting needs a little distraction as well...These selfish SOB's can do a 51/49, a 50/50, or something and get balling...I can't listen to baseball talk radio another day...I'm not in a happy place right now on the outside watching this go down...They all need to get their acts together...

I felt the same way at one point but I don't know if fans feel serious enough about it to carry it thru.

The answer is you don't. Collective bargaining is the nature of the beast. I don't like the lockout, but I don't really care what happens and I want baskeball back.

You go about it by not supporting their residual income. Team memorabilia, team related products, the NBA league pass, attendance at the games. We are usually stuck in some kind of cable package that shows our home team, but outside of that NOTHING!!! In days of old, they would kill the messenger as a sign of their displeasure regarding a proposed settlement. Can we do any less?

It's easy...
Just organize boycott for the arenas but watch games on TV... so owners will be screwed.
And stop buying the snicks and jerseys... so players will be screwed.
And at the same time fans can save a big $$$$$$...

And then what the hell am I going to get for Christmas? A fucking Mighty Ducks retro jersey?

When the players start playing, I'll be back and I'm going to buy the first DHoward Knicks jersey I can find in XXLT.
By the way, anybody have a source for old Sprewell away Knick jerseys?

Oh and hockey still sucks warthog azz worse than soccer.

Tough for fans to boycott, ticket holders dont get there money back cause they don't show up for games..

A bad deal can also hurt the team your rooting for in the long run.. Ya think if we have a hard salary cap they knicks would benefit, or the heat, or boston.

What's even more annoying is that if the season ever starts, Knick fans attending games at MSG will be giving money to the most annoying billionnaire owners in this lockout, via "revenue sharing"- I really don't see how that's fair.

The rich will continue to get richer. Fact of life for people at that strata, short of a ponzi scheme or a messy divorce.

Your statement could possibly be valid if it were not for the existence of our owner. Somehow, he will get richer.

If there isn't a season does the draft order remain the same? The Knicks would be giving up the 17th pick then. I would think if there was a season that the pick would not be that high.

Wealth is not only money... and not so much money.
Jimmy has a lot of money but thats about it.
He will use what his family accumulated for generations.
Nothing wrong about it but nothing special also.
